No-one rained on the Wanderers parade at Bankwest Stadium as Amy Harrison ensured Western Sydney maintained a perfect start to the season, beating Newcastle Jets 1-0.
Clare Wheeler - 6
Wheeler was nearly at fault for a Wanderers opener failing to clear a bouncing ball in the box. Lucky for her Amy Harrison's shot rocketed off the post. She regained her steel in midfield but hand-balled in the box which saw Harrison score the opener.
Nickoletta Flannery - 5.5
There wasn't much for Flannery to work with on the left flank. The Wanderers dominated the match leaving slim pickings for the winger to pick up the ball and run at the defence.
Teigan Collister - 6
Fresh from her extraordinary effort last week Collister couldn't replicate her wondrous work against the Wanderers.
Tara Andrews - 5.5
Andrews had Newcastle's first real chance, sending a header into the arms of Abigail Smith. Chances were few and far between.
Jenna Kingsley - 6
Kinglsey, who is Western Sydney born and bred, couldn't get one over the Wanderers this evening, coming up against a tough test in Staab and Huynh.
SUBSTITUTES
Lauren Allan - 6
Allan replaced Flannery early in the second half but couldn't find a spark to make an impact for Newcastle.
Panagiota Petratos - N/A
Paige Kingston-Hogg - N/A
