No-one rained on the Wanderers parade at Bankwest Stadium as Amy Harrison ensured Western Sydney maintained a perfect start to the season, beating Newcastle Jets 1-0.
NEWCASTLE JETS
Claire Coelho - 6.5
Whilst shots were flying past her in the first half, not many of them called Coelho into meaningful action. A strong save denied Kristen Hamilton from opening the scoring.
Gema Simon - 6
Simon had to constantly look over her shoulder to mark Kristen Hamilton leaving some spaces open for Cooney-Cross.
Hannah Brewer - 6
It was a tough night for the experienced defender who would have thought she spent the entire game on the back foot shielding defenders and blocking shots.
Cassidy Davis - 6
Davis was putting her body on the line on multiple occasions to deny the Wanderers but they were under the pump for most of the match.
Tessa Tamplin - 5.5
Lynn Williams was causing most of Tamplin's problems when she cut inside onto her favoured right foot. There weren't many instances when Tamplin was quick enough to show her onto her weaker foot.
Elizabeth Copus-Brown - 5.5
Copus-Brown was struggling in the middle as O'Sullivan and Harrison glided in all directions around Newcastle's midfield.
