No-one rained on the Wanderers parade at Bankwest Stadium as Amy Harrison ensured Western Sydney maintained a perfect start to the season, beating Newcastle Jets 1-0.
Ella Mastrantonio - 7
Mastrantonio and Irish import Denise O'Sullivan look like they are developing a confident partnership. She assisted Williams for a goal but it was ruled offside.
Amy Harrison - 7
Harrison is occupying an advanced role in the Wanderers midfield. Her general play was very positive alongside Cooney-Cross but her she'd be disappointed with her finishing. She got her chance from the penalty spot, dispatching cooly into the bottom left corner.
Denise O'Sullivan - 6.5
Her connection with her North Carolina teammates is as strong as ever. O'Sullivan controlled the tempo and was able to pick out passes to all her attacking teammates.
Kyra Cooney-Cross - 7
For a young player she has an exceptional control of the football coupled with a great ability to pivot away from defenders and drop the shoulder.
Lynn Williams - 7
Williams was on the end of Mastrantonio's cross but her goal was disallowed. Upon replay, she'd be upset to see she was in fact behind the last defender and not offside.
Kristen Hamilton - 7
Hamilton's skill on the ball caused all sorts of problems the Jets. The American spread across the centre and left backs to stretch Newcastle's defence.
