Australia will have a rematch of the 2016 ICC Women's World T20 final after the West Indies won their final group match.
The West Indies won by four wickets in their match against England overnight which meant they finished top of Group A while Australia had to settle for second in Group B after a loss to India.
It will be the sixth time Australia has faced the West Indies at the World T20 with Australia enjoying four wins up until two years ago.
There most recent clash saw the West Indies win by eight wickets and earn their first Championship title.
Australian coach Matthew Mott said his side will have to move on quickly from their loss to India and focus on the final.
"We had a bad day and you can look at it too much or you can make sure you are better next time," he said.
"As a batting unit, we've had a pretty good run in T20, we aren't going to change our process too much.
"We've got to move on very quickly, we are in a semi-final in a few days time and we would've loved to have won (against India)," Mott said.
Australia will be hoping everything goes to plan for wicketkeeper and opener Alyssa Healy who will need to prove her fitness after suffering a mild concussion in the final group game when she collided with Megan Schutt.
They won't be taking any chances with Healy, who was the tournament's leading run-scorer heading into the match against India, having to pass a stringent set of tests to prove she has recovered before she can take the field.
Australia's semi-final against the West Indies is on Thursday (7am Friday AEDT) with Fox Sports and the Nine Network to broadcast the match.
