But before they begin their international preparations they had one last game to play for their overseas clubs.

NWSL (USA)

The Aussies of the NWSL made their last games count. In total, they had three goals and two assists and a combined 635 minutes on the field.

The opening game of the weekend was between Sky Blue FC and the Washington Spirit. The game had plenty of goals and each team was able to score before the 31st minute taking the 1-1 tie into halftime.

The game remained tied until the Aussies on Spirit showed what they can do. Chloe Logarzo received a pass on the left flank that she then slotted to Amy Harrison who was just inside the 18-yard box.

Harrison crossed the ball to her teammate Jordan DiBiasi who sent a one touch rocket shot into the net.

The teams would continue to exchange goals the rest of the game, but the Spirit ended up with the victory winning 3-2.

Spirit (2-1-1) now sit in 5th place whereas Sky Blue FC (0-3-2) is in 8th place. Harrison played 84 minutes for the Spirit before she was subbed off and Logarzo logged 66 minutes for the Spirit.

The second game took place between the Utah Royals and the Houston Dash.

The Dash were hoping to give the Royals their first loss on the season. The Royals who were trying to show they’re the top team in the league got out to a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute.

Then right before the half, the Dash were able to find an equalizer from a defensive miscue, scoring the first goal that the Royals have conceded all season. Five minutes into the second half Houston proved that getting a goal against the Royals was no fluke by scoring another goal to go up 2-1.

The Dash would be able to hold off the Royals the rest of the game even with going down to 10 players due to a red card in the 90th minute.
