It was the first game of the Bushfire Relief double header and for fans that were there it certainly didn’t disappoint. Melbourne proved that they were too strong for Collingwood, coming home with the four points.

Collingwood just couldn’t convert on the score board
The Pies’ performance tonight was great, but they just weren’t able to convert it onto the scoreboard.
They had a clean transition out of their defensive half and a great midfield performance that unfortunately wasn’t reflected by the score.
It didn’t help that the Pies’ cross-coding star Ash Brazill went down with a serious knee injury late in the 3rd quarter.
