Football legends pick their future FFA Hall of Famers
The FFA Hall of Fame first started in 1999, since then 245 people have had the honour of being inducted, from players to coaches to administrators to anyone that has made a significant contribution to Australian football over the last 140 years. The class of 2020 has not yet been announced.

100 years since the illegal 'brilliant' first women's football match
While there is evidence of women playing organised football in NSW as early as 1909, on 24 September 1921 the first official publicised women's football match in Australia was played at the Gabba between the North Brisbane Reds and the South Brisbane Blues.

Women’s football in NSW was on the cusp of something special in the 1960s. After being banned from playing in 1922, women who loved football decided they would push through the barriers rather than be suppressed by them.
