At just 20 years old scoring on the big stage like a FIFA Women’s World Cup is an unforgettable moment.
Perry’s long-distance shot into the top left corner was a remarkable goal. The roaring Aussies heard from the stands in Germany gives you chills and a sense of pride in being a woman in Australia.

Gorry’s screamer is hard to forget!
Skipping past her defender and taking the shot from just outside the box, the perfect shot allowing the ball to curl just the right amount to make it impossible for the keeper to save, hitting the back of the net powerfully for an exceptional goal.

Tameka Yallop’s goal against USA was a historic moment as Australia recorded their first-ever victory against the world number ones.
Yallop’s strike in the second half gave the Matildas the win 1-0. Following this success, the Matilda’s then were crowned victors of the 2017 Tournament of Nations.
