Nine are projecting significant audience growth ahead of the second season of Suncorp Super Netball.
For the first time this Saturday, Nine will shift the game to its primary channel.
Last season, Nine broadcast the netball for the first time where the channel received strong audiences with more than four million Australians tuning in.
Two games a week, one on Saturday and Sunday, will be broadcast live.
Nine’s Head of Netball Keeley Devery notes the strong role models that netball players offer children and teenagers.
“Seeing women playing sport on TV is well overdue,” she said.
“As a mother, I am so pleased my daughter can now watch her heroes on the sporting field.
“The great thing about the Suncorp Super Netball is that it’s the best netball league in the world,” Devery said.
The first game for Nine will be Melbourne Vixens v Magpies Netball at 3pm on Saturday.
