Stacey Marinkovich has extended her contract with West Coast Fever until the end of the 2021 Super Netball season.
“Having been here for so long in different roles, I have a great passion for the Club,” Marinkovich said.
“The people I get to work with, and the players I get to coach, certainly make it something I am excited to be around for.
“Obviously my aspirations are to win a premiership, but taking it step by step, it’s making finals, winning a final and then winning a premiership, and then being able to hold that success for a long period of time,” she said.
Marinkovich became the first person in National League history to both captain and coach her Club, when she was named Fever Head Coach in 2015, leading them to their inaugural finals berth, a season where she was named Coach of the Year.
While Fever didn't have a great start to the Super Netball competition, coming second last and winning only two games, they currently sit atop of the ladder by three points with four rounds left to play.
