Australian Diamonds assistant coach Roselee Jencke OAM has made the decision to step down from her role with the national side.
The Queensland Firebirds head coach was appointed to her assistant coach roles with the Diamonds in 2015 but cited family reasons and life-balance were contributing factors in stepping away from the national setup.
“This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but a necessary one at this time in my life," Jenke said.
"The extra travel and time away has taken its toll, and I look forward to more time with my family," she added.
Diamonds head coach Lisa Alexander thanked Jencke for her contribution to the national team.
“Roselee has influenced and inspired a generation of Australian players in her role as Diamonds assistant coach, and will continue to do so through her work at all levels of netball," she said.
“We are sad to see Roselee leave the national coaching ranks, but totally respect and understand her decision, and wish her well for the remainder of the Suncorp Super Netball season,” Alexander said.
