Australian pairing of Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho Del Solar are through to the gold medal match of the beach volleyball.
Clancy and Artacho Del Solar held off Vanuatu's Miller Pata and Linline Matauatu in a tight match last night and are guaranteed a medal tonight.
They fought off a strong Vanuatu pairing after they came from a set down to put the match into the third but Australia was hungry.
"We just had to stay strong and trust in each other," Artacho Del Solar said.
"It was a matter of not giving up.
"We stuck to our game, even though we weren't getting what we wanted," she said.

Australia will face Canada's Melissa Humana-Paredes and Sarah Pavan, who continued their run of dominance with a straight-sets win over Cyprus.
The Canadian pair are ranked number one in the world by the FIVB but Clancy said there are no easy matches.
"We didn't come here to play the weakest, we want to beat the best," she said.
Australia face Canada tonight at 8:30pm.
