After months of drawn out negotiations and the haunting feeling that next season might never get here, the AFLW have finally released their first fixtures for the 2019/20 season.
The AFLW has once again attempted to prioritise a stand-alone atmosphere, with as few as three double headers during the season.
There are also 13 new venues set to stage the national competition, as the AFLW seeks to mark its territory in rural Australia.
Wagga Wagga, Alice Springs, Mackay and Morewell are all set to host matches this season.
