The Richmond Tigers are left winless again as the St Kilda girls powered on to their second win of their 2020 campaign. Held at an empty Moorabbin – something we are now unfamiliar with, the Saints stormed home as 39-point victors, adding to coach Peta Searle’s first year record. It was disappointing without fans, but the Saints played to their strengths and exited the ground thanking the fans they wished were present!
NO CROWDS NO WORRIES AS SAINTS GO MARCHING IN
Although it was evident that both St Kilda and Richmond sadly missed their loyal fans, the intensity and noise was up from both sides.
The Saints posted fans well-wishes in their change rooms to inspire their side onto victory, while the Tigers used their social media to get their motivation.
The atmosphere was alive, with the passion in every step of the game from both sides.
After every goal from the Saints, the cheers could be heard echoing across Linton Street.
They won that for all their Saints faithful, despite the circumstances and they’ll continue to push to finish their season strongly.
