Casey Dumont in form

Melbourne Victory’s keeper has been on fire recently, and she didn’t put a foot wrong in tonight’s match either.

Dumont saved yet another penalty tonight (her third penalty save of the season so far).

This time Crystal Thomas took the kick, but it was poorly placed and under hit.

But all credit goes to Dumont, who was able to easily read the penalty and calmly get low to keep her team in the game in such an important moment.

The keeper almost had to be removed from the field towards the end of the second half after securing the ball in an aerial battle, but Dumont was okay to continue after receiving treatment.

Her exceptional performance against Perth comes off the back of an amazing double save against Brisbane last week, and an all-over stellar season so far.

Dumont has been outstanding, especially in moments when she’s put under pressure. She’s a quality keeper who has helped Melbourne in some crucial instances so far this season.
