The first ever Q-Clash certainly didn’t disappoint. It was the most nail-biting match of the round so far, ending with two teams that couldn’t be split after the final siren.

KATE LUTKINS HAS AN OUTSTANDING READ ON THE BALL
It took a while for the Gold Coast Suns to get going out of their defensive half, due in large part to the efforts of Kate Lutkins, the anchor of Brisbane’s back line.
She consistently read the ball well and positioned herself to take seemingly easy intercept marks throughout the day.
By working up the ground she was able to stop the Suns from transitioning the ball out of Brisbane’s attacking half.
