There was an eerie feel to Hickey Park, home to the first game with the fans being locked out due to coronavirus. The Lions seemed to have the momentum in the third quarter, but Collingwood were just too good and took the four points.

Sophie Conway essential to the Lions Comeback attempt
Even though Conway went down with what looked to be a massive shoulder injury in the first quarter, it didn’t stop her from getting back out on the ground.
Conway finished the game with 11 disposals and used her speed to her advantage, breaking away from her opponents to deliver the ball to her teammates inside 50.
Conway was a shining light in a disappointing performance, even though her numbers weren’t high, she did a lot of things right to give the lions a chance to chase the Pies.
