There was an eerie feel to Hickey Park, home to the first game with the fans being locked out due to coronavirus. The Lions seemed to have the momentum in the third quarter, but Collingwood were just too good and took the four points.

Collingwood just too good for the Lions
Collingwood kept the Lions goalless for three out of the four quarters with a score of 25-1 at half time. It was an all-round great performance for Collingwood.
Even when all the momentum was going Brisbane’s way in the third term, Collingwood’s defence put on an outstanding performance to only let the Lions earn two majors. Stacey Livingstone, Porter Casey and Chloe Molloy were true standouts in Collingwood’s backline.
With the four points going the way of the Pies, they are in with a good chance to make their first finals appearance after four years in the competition.
