Bottom of the table Adelaide United and Perth Glory share the points in tight match.
Both sides yet to get a win
Before yesterday’s game, Perth had only drawn once against Canberra, and Adelaide had no points on the table.
But the bottom of the table clash split the points evenly between these two teams, leaving Perth with two points sitting in eighth place on the ladder, while Adelaide received their first point of the season.
Neither team have won a game so far, though Adelaide came close to picking up a win yesterday.
Initially there were lots of early chances for Perth, and Adelaide found themselves defending for the beginning of the first half.
But the tables quickly turned when Chelsie Dawber scored for Adelaide first, and then Mary Fowler scored the second from the edge of the area just before half time.
Yet, Perth were able to make a superb comeback, and the game finished 2-2.
This means that neither side has registered a win so far this season, and we’re almost at the end of Round Eight.
Maybe these bottom table sides will catch three points in the upcoming weeks.
