Bottom of the table Adelaide United and Perth Glory share the points in tight match.
Willacy on top
Adelaide’s keeper Sarah Willacy played a fantastic game against Perth.
Though she wasn’t able to read Andrew’s penalty, Willacy kept her team in the game early on when Perth had the momentum in the first half.
The keeper was able to save a number of shots, including denying Kat Jukic, whose shot she parried onto the crossbar, and then a double save against Morgan Andrews and Celia Jimenz also in the first half.
The 24-year-old was vital to keeping Adelaide in the game during the first half, and she’s sure to be vital again in Adelaide’s next match against the Newcastle Jets away from home next week.
