Australian netballer Sharni Layton has opened up about her mental health struggle in 2017 in a recent video with 20FOUR.
The 30-year-old is a superstar of the game having captained the Diamonds in the 2017 Quad Series.
Layton took an extended break from netball.
“After taking a bit of time off I realised that I wasn’t ok," she said.
“You think there’s something wrong with you and you think it’s just you,” Layton added.
She is currently preparing with the Collingwood Magpies ahead of the 2018 Super Netball season.
