Yesterday afternoon para-Winter Olympian Melissa Perrine claimed a bronze medal in the Super Combined.
It was Perrine first medal after three Winter Paralympics.
She told Channel 7 after the race it was a long time coming.
"It was kind of starting to creep into my thoughts a little bit that maybe it just wasn't meant to happen but we just talked about having a solid consistent run and went out and put something down," she said.
Perrine has just finished her first run in the Giant Salom and sits in third place.
