Emma Zielke will be out of action for an undisclosed time after breaking her fibula in the Brisbane Lions last Winter Series.
In the second quarter of the teams match against the Gold Coast Suns Zielke went down with a suspected ankle injury and was stretched from the field.
It was announced through the Brisbane Lions AFLW Twitter she would not be turning to the game.
This afternoon Zielke took to social media to update Lions fans on what the outcome was.
Unfortunately won’t be able to do this again for awhile after breaking my leg (fib) in our last winter series game yesterday. 😪 Thank you to everyone who has messaged me! I’ll be back sooner rather than later! 🦁#bonebreaker #needmoremilk pic.twitter.com/zSfagMDt2J
