The Young Matildas commence their campaign to qualify for the 2015 AFC U19 Championships when they take on Hong Kong today in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Drawn in Group C, the Young Matildas are up against Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam in a league style competition with the group winner making their way through to the 2015 championships.

With five players part of the 2012 and 2013 qualifiers and three quarters of the squad having already represented Australia at youth level, the Young Matildas are well placed to make their way through to the finals.

Australia's first up opponent is a Hong Kong side whom the Young Matildas meet for the first time.

The match kicks off at 5.00pm (AEST). As there is no broadcast coverage updates will be on TWG’s Twitter and Facebook.
