It’s getting to that time of the year again: the weather's getting warmer and we’re becoming more and more impatient for the W-League to begin.

Clubs are taking ownership of themselves
The FFA is no longer in total control of the W-League, with a new body taking over the top tiers in Australia.
This means that clubs will have more say in their own decisions, leading to greater growth of the game and higher fan engagement.
The aim is to significantly improve the commercial investment and marketing across the league, ultimately improving the quality of players and the competitiveness of the W-League.
The 2019/20 season will be the first time we see the new deal in action, so there’s plenty to look forward to!
