1. Coaching staff hitting form

It’s not only the W-League's players we've had to watch out for this year – the coaching staff across the board are a pretty talented bunch too. If all the coaches return to their teams, the 2019/20 season will be one to remember.

Sydney FC’s Ante Juric has been with the club since the 2017 season, the same amount of time as Heather Garriock has been at Canberra United.

Craig Deans has been with the Newcastle Jets since 2015, and Jeff Hopkins at the helm of Melbourne Victory for only a year less than that.

Female football Coach of the Year, Mel Andreatta, will also be going into her fourth year at Brisbane Roar.

They’ve had time to settle in and get their game plans ready, now it’s show-time.
