Perth Glory's 2 - 1 win over Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory's 0 - 0 draw with Brisbane Roar has set up this weekend's Week 11 blockbuster encounter.  In the biggest game in Perth Glory Womens and Melbourne Victory Womens short history, there will be plenty nerves, tension and hopefully goals.

Perth's victory was set up last week by one of their superstars, striker Sam Kerr. In last week's performance, Kerr displayed why she one of the excitement machines of the League with two sublime finishes.

Kerr was not without support with Katie Gill displaying their unique connection and Matildas midfielder Collette McCallum demonstrated all her skill and class.

Those three, along with the much improved Season Three defence, will have to put on their best display of the season as the rewards have never been greater especially as their opponents are vying for the same spoils.

Melbourne could have bid their finals hopes goodbye last weekend but a solid and spirited peformance against the Roar has seen them remain well and truly in the hunt.  Victory this weekend, well its safe to say they will be precious points.

English striker Jodie Taylor has displayed why she was several times an US College All Star as she has led the Melbourne attack solidly.  Taylor will need a couple on target again on Sunday but will need assistance.

Youngsters Stephanie Catley and Ashley Brown have provided able support but if Melbourne are to prevent supply to Perth's powerful attack, then midfielders Ella Mastrantonio, Lousia Bisby and Ursual Hughson will need to win their share of midfield ball.

For Perth its simple; win on Sunday and they will see finals action for their first time in their history.  Meanwhile a win for Melbourne will place them in the box seat in the finals race.
