Danaskos, 23, makes the switch from Canberra United and is set to play and Caitlin Jarvie with the Red & Black for her third season of the Westfield W-League.

The 23-year-old most recently played in the NSW Women’s National Premier League with the Illawarra Stingrays where she scored eight goals.

Crafty in the midfield, Danasksos is excited to return home and play in front of relatives and passionate Wanderers supporters.

“I’m so excited to wear the Red & Black this season as I’ve spent the last few seasons away from home,” said Danaskos.

"It’s nice to come home and play in front of my family and friends. I’m really excited to play in front of them and the amazing Wanderers members and fans

“As an individual, I’d like to cement my spot in the starting line-up. I’m new to the club, so I’m looking forward to learning from the girls in the team.

“I’m so thrilled to have joined a team with such good skill and performance, so I guess the goal as a team is to obviously make finals and go all the way.”

Jarvie returns to the Red & Black after a recent spell in Spain with C.F. Paradinyes.

The veteran midfielder was previously part of the Wanderers inaugural Westfield W-League team and has since played in England, Italy, America and South America.

Jarvie represented Australia in the Futsal World Cup in Colombia and is looking forward to being back at the Red & Black.

“I’m pretty happy to be back, I’ve spent the last two years away from Australian football so it’s good to be back in Australia and I’m looking forward to seeing what the competition is like,” said Jarvie.

“A lot of the girls in the team I’ve always played against and they’ve always been the hardest competition, so it’s good to be on their side this season and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone."
