Australian squash player Donna Urquhart is set to face fellow teammate Christine Nunn in the Round of 16 today.
The winner will progress to the quarterfinals.
Urquhart started her Commonwealth Games campaign with a 3-0 win over Pakistan's Faiza Zafar last night.
After her match, she said it was a good feeling to get the win.
"It's nice to be into the tournament with a good win and I'm looking forward to fighting another day tomorrow," Urquhart said.
The 31-year-old is at her third Games but it is just her second Games competing in the women's singles after being dropped from the event for Glasgow.
Instead, Urquhart competed in the women's doubles where she made the quarterfinals.
While Nunn is making her Games debut on the Gold Coast and got off to the perfect start with a 3-0 win over Dianne Kellas from Malta yesterday afternoon.
Urquhart is looking forward to going up against her teammate.
"It's going to be good because no matter what, we get another Australian through to the next round," she said.
The two face each other from 12:30pm today at the Oxenford Studios.
