With all the free time in isolation, you’re bound to spend more time on social media and it’s a great place to get your footy fix in the absence of any games. So here are the best AFLW-related Instagram pages to follow to get you through the footy drought.

For discussions about the 2020 season, follow All In Show (@all.in.show). While not currently posting, you can find six previous episodes of the show on their page which provide a humorous but sophisticated view on the AFLW, hosted by Emma Race and Sam Lane with guest AFLW players.

If you prefer statistics and facts from women’s footy, check out Chewy Boot Video (@chewybootvideo), where you’ll find interesting insights into the AFLW presented in a fun format.
Finally, if you’re a fan of their podcast and want to see some behind-the-scenes, or just want to hear a diverse range of reflections into the AFLW, follow The Outer Sanctum (@theoutersanctumpodcast). They’re continuing to post through the pandemic, providing plenty of entertainment.

If it’s inspiration for household isolation challenges you’re looking for, you’ll love the posts from Adelaide’s co-captain Chelsea Randall (@chelsearandall26) who has been posting fun housemate challenges like hallway dribble kicks and dry Weet-Bix eating competitions with her housemates, fellow Adelaide players Marijana Rajcic and Renee Forth.

If you’re also a foodie, you’ll enjoy following Jess Hosking (@jesshosking). You can watch her stories and highlights to see cooking videos for meals like chocolate mousse and dumplings which will make your mouth water.

For a laugh as well as some workout inspiration, check out Tayla Harris’s Instagram (@tayla_harris) to see photos of her dog and snippets of her YouTube videos which include hair dyeing and workout challenges.

For those of you missing the kick-to-kick, follow Sam Virgo (@sam.virgo87) to see fun challenges like kicking a ball at a towel on the washing line, and check out Jessica Wuetschner (@jessica.wuetschner) taking on Sam’s challenge, attempting to kick a footy into a box held by a person riding a skateboard.

Finally, if you’re in need of some exercise motivation, follow Fremantle’s Ebony Antonio (@ebonyantonio12) – her stories show the workouts that she and Kara Antonio have been doing through isolation which may provide some inspiration.
