After a stellar season with Colorado Pride, Tara Andrews has been named the USL W-League Most Valuable Player for 2015.
The award was on the back of a scoring spree for Pride with the striker netting 18 goals and three assists in the regular rounds, leading the Pride to the Western Conference championship in only their second season.
The final week of the competition saw a host of accolades come the way of the 21-year-old including being named in the Western Conference and All Conference team and named Golden Boot and Scoring Champion for 2015.
During the championship weekend Andrews continued her streak with a goal in Colorado's 4-0 semi-final win over the Laval Comets. The Pride's run ended in the grand final with Andrews goal not enough as they were defeated 2-1 by the Washington Spirit Reserves in the USL W-League championship match.
After a break, Andrews looks set to return to Australia to play with the Newcastle Jets and is set to be one the Jets' key players in 2015/16, particularly with the German departure of last season's Julie Dolan Medallist Emily van Egmond.
The W-League commences in mid-October 2015.
