Brisbane Roar midfielder Tameka Butt has been awarded the Julie Dolan Medal as 2013/14 W-League Player of the Year.
Butt was a key part of the Brisbane Roar side that appeared in their fifth W-League grand final in which they were defeated by Melbourne Victory.
Key Victory players were also honoured on the night with captain Stephanie Catley and midfielder Jessica Fishlock voted the Young Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year, respectively.
For Catley it is the second year running she completed the FFA & W-League Young Player of the Year double.
In the other awards Adelaide United goalkeeper Melissa Barbieri won her second Golden Glove for Goalkeeper of the Year. In an emotional speech the Lady Reds custodian paid tribute to her teammates and family for assisting her in her comeback to the W-League.
Sydney FC coach and Matildas interim head coach Alen Stajcic won his second Coach of the Year gong after leading the Sky Blues to their sixth consecutive finals series, demonstrating some the best football witnessed to date. Fittingly, Stajcic's spearhead Jodie Taylor took home the Golden Boot with 10 goals
Meanwhile Grand Final referee Casey Reibelt was recognised as the W-League Referee of the Year while Brisbane, Newcastle and Melbourne all shared the fair play award.
