Sydney FC have signed striker Jasmyne Spencer from the Western New York Flash for the 2014 season.
Spencer, appeared in 22 games for the Flash this season (including nine starts), with three goals and one assist.
“Jasmyne is an excellent addition to our side,” said Sydney FC coach Alen Stajcic.
“For such a young age she brings experience and goals and I’m certain she’ll make our strike force even more lethal this season."
“I’d like to welcome Jasmyne to Australia, and to Sydney FC, and I can’t wait to start working with her.”
A quick forward, Spencer plays off the shoulder of the last defender and will complement the Sky Blues current attacking stocks that includes the speed of Kyah Simon and Chloe Logarzo.
Spencer is familiar to newly returned Sydney FC defender Teigen Allen with the two having played together at Flash in the 2014 NWSL season.
Spencer arrives next week, and pending international clearance, should be clear to start for Sydney FC's first match against Adelaide United on 14 September 2014.
