The Waratahs started their day against their rivals, Queensland Reds where they secured a 19-5 win before following it up with a 27-0 victory over the Melbourne Rebels

Waratahs star Olivia Brooks told Rugby.com.au that her side was happy with their efforts yesterday.

“I’ve never played Tens before this weekend so first game was a bit rocky but I was better in the second game," she said.

“I think we’ve just got to stay focused and not get ahead of ourselves before we play.”

Queensland bounced back from their opening loss to have the biggest score of the day with a 33-0 over the ACT Brumbies.

“We were trying to build structure in that first game and that was nice to go out and get together and pull off the win,” Reds captain Kirby Sefo told Rugby.com.au.

The Waratahs will likely face Queensland in the final on Saturday but this will be confirmed after the Reds game against the Rebels this afternoon.
