Despite a season of ups and downs, the team saw seven players picked in the World Cup squad for Canada.
The last match for Canberra saw them lift their second championship trophy in three seasons. After a mid-season slump, it was a satisfying victory for the girls in green. Their grand final star, Ashleigh Sykes, is back after her grand final heroics.
