Season One champions and Season Two bridesmaids Brisbane Roar have named their Season Three squad for the Westfield W-League .

The standout club the first two seasons of the W-League, the Roar have retained a majority of their squad with some noticeable inclusions and departures.

Captain, and FFA Women's International Footballer of the Year, will lead the ladies in orange once again alongside other notable Matildas including exceptional goalkeeper Casey Dumont, midfielder Elise Kellond-Knight and forward Tameka Butt.

However, the Roar have also seen the departure of some big names including goalscoring machine Courtney Beutel and the retirements of defensive stalwart Kate McShea and the injury plagued Jenna Tristram.

Brisbane have boasted their squad with quality signings all around the park with ex-Melbourne Victory defender Laura Alleway looking to partner Kim Carroll and former Matilda Amy Chapman and Young Matilda Emily Gielnik both returning from injury to add flexibility to already strong squad.

Season Three is set to be tougher still with the other clubs noticeably strengthening their squad but Brisbane will again prove to be one of the best sides in the competition; if not the best!
