Commonwealth Game bronze medalist Lauren Parker has won her first gold medal at the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Paratriathlon World Cup event in France.
The 28-year-old was trailing the leader by two minutes as she headed into the bike before making her move to gain a seven minute lead heading into the run.
She was able to hold her lead to win with a time of 1:26:02.

Parker's win comes 14 months after a horrific training accident in which she punctured her lung, broke ribs, her shoulder blade and pelvis, and damaged her spinal cord, becoming paralysed from the waist down.
