Western Sydney Wanderers have added another two exciting signings to Dean Heffernan's squad.
Alex Huynh will be a familiar name to long-term Wanderers fans.
She was a foundation player with Western Sydney who returns after a significant spell in the US college system with Colarado Buffaloes.
“I was part of the original squad when the club became a club and it was honestly such a great experience,” she said.
“Then I went away to college and just had that experience.
“To be able to be part of the new facilities and the new resources (at the Wanderers) is second to none, I feel like no other Westfield W-League team has access to this.
“Dean (Heffernan), Megzi (Michael Beauchamp) and Nul’s (Catherine Cannuli), they’ve all had experience playing or the club so they know exactly what it means to put on the jersey.”
We are delighted to announce the return to Alex Huynh and Alix Roberts for the upcoming @WLeague season!

But the Wanderers have also lured back talented Aussie Alix Roberts, who is returning to the W-League after a spell in Denmark.
“When the Wanderers came into the league it was always something I aspired to, so getting the call up a few years ago was something quite special to me,” Roberts said.
“I still get those tingles putting on the shirt, so I’m really looking forward to the season ahead.
“I think as a team, we want to be that team to make history. For Wanderers women’s football, we’ve never made a Finals Series so to get our names in a Finals Series for the club would some something really special.”
