Commonwealth Games Champion Jemima Montag has been disqualified in the 20km walk at the IAAF World Road Race Walking Team Championships.
Montag lined up alongside 2016 Olympian Rachel Tallent but both Australian's endured a frustrating race.
Montag was disqualified after passing through 15-kilometres in 13th position, 40 seconds outside a podium finish.
Tallent, who has battled injury over the last two seasons, finished 59th in 1:36:34, 1:14 outside of her season’s best.

Shijie Qieyang of China claimed silver finishing 16 seconds ahead of teammate Jiayu Yiang.
