A quieter game than usual tonight, made some good passes in the middle.

Created a few opportunities for herself and her teammates from quick runs up the line and good crosses from wide areas.

Lauren Barnes – 7.5

Defended well against the speed of Charley, dribbled into the midfield to play the ball forward nicely.

Aivi Luik – 8

Defended well, screened the defensive line and broke down Canberra’s build-up play in the midfield.

Emily van Egmond – 7.5

Scored a beautiful volley in the 76th minute to score City’s fourth goal but held onto the ball for too long in the first half and made a few poor choices in build-up.

Claire Emslie – 9

Scored from a penalty after being taken out by Khamis, worked hard and had a number of touches on the ball and chances up front.

Kyah Simon – 8.5

Scored the first goal of the match from a sweet left-footed strike and created a multitude of chances for her side, one of City’s best on park tonight.

Milica Mijatovic – 7

Didn’t have the ball as much as other games this season, good in some patches but a quieter game for her today.
