Western Sydney Wanderers have pulled off the coup of the W-League off-season and rocketed into Grand Final contention with the signing of three reigning NWSL champions.
Kristen Hamilton - who finished second to Sam Kerr in the NWSL scoring charts with 12 goals - Denise O'Sullivan and Lynn Williams have all joined Western Sydney from reigning NWSL champs North Carolina Courage.
The trio join fresh after smashing Kerr's Chicago Red Stars 4-0 in the NWSL Grand Final, with a huge amount of pedigree between them.
27-year-old Hamilton is a US international, having made her debut in 2019 after excelling during the regular season, while O'Sullivan is a 71-cap Irish international.
Lynn Williams is a 19-cap US international forward and has averaged more than a goal every two games for the Courage since she joined the team in 2017.
The signings are some of the biggest names we've seen enter the competition in the W-League's history, and have forced the Wanderers into the spotlight as serious contenders for the upcoming season.
Hamilton and Williams are likely to form one of the most-pedigreed attacking lineups we've seen in the W-League, directly rivalling the Wanderers' cross-town rivals, Sydney FC, who boast three current Matildas in their lineup.
