The FFA and the PFA have agreed to a interim deal that will see the Matildas tour China from 23 October 2015 - 27 October 2015.

The Four Nations Tournament would see Australia take on hosts and world n0. 12 China as well as 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup bronze medallists England and a third nation - rumoured to be South Korea.

The deal between the FFA and the PFA would see the Matildas head into camp next week as preparations for the 2016 Rio Olympics begin in earnest.

The terms of the interim deal are on the same basis as that offered in September for the aborted USA tour - agreed upon with the new CBA deal close to completion - beingĀ $6,750 for each player.

November's tour would be Australia's first matches since their history making run at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.

It will mean that the national team players would be unavailable for up to two rounds of the W-League season, affecting almost every team in the competition and potentially the new Melbourne Derby.

Australia is aiming to qualify for the Olympics for the first time since Athens 2004 and commence the Rio 2016 qualifying tournament in March 2016.
