The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have picked up two more players with Tasmanian talent Emma Humphries and local player Jasmine Grierson.
North traded picks 12 and 47 to Melbourne in exchange for the pair and pick 54.
“Emma and Jasmine are both exciting additions,” North AFLW coach Scott Gowans said.
“We tracked Emma closely over the past two seasons given some of the rare attributes she possesses.
“Her leadership will also be valuable, particularly for our Tasmanian-based players,” he said.
Humphries was drafted from the Burnie Dockers in the Tasmanian State League Women’s to the Melbourne Demons in 2016, whilst Grierson was drafted from VFLW side Cranbourne.
“Jasmine has a great ability to read play and her decision making is fantastic,” Gowans said.
“We believe she has tremendous potential and will look to further develop as a midfielder.
“Both Emma and Jasmine are exciting additions to the club,” he said.
