Commonwealth Games gold medallist Tia Toomey crushed her performance at the CrossFit Games to take out the coveted title for the third time.

The weightlifter wracked up 1071 points and finished 195 points clear of her nearest rival, cementing her dominance at the forefront of the world's female fitness competition.

"It's pretty surreal but it definitely wouldn't have been manageable without all you guys, so thank you very much," she said after her win.

"If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be going into the gym every day trying to better myself."
