"It's always going to be tough in Asia with their degree of quality, but I think this Young Matildas squad is well prepared and will be competitive."
"I'm really looking forward to the World Cup Qualifiers. It will be a great experience but also a very tough one through Asia. I think we have the potential to play well and win games and I'm looking forward to the challenge."
"I'm feeling excited and nervous, looking very positive to win."
"I'm really excited about the qualifiers and I think it's going to be a great experience and challenge for all of us girls. The AFF championships was a great preparation tournament for us and to achieve what we did was unbelievable. We will be looking to take that same mentality into the qualifiers and hopefully we can qualify for the next World Cup."
"I'm so excited to be going to the qualifiers! I'm a bit nervous too, but I have complete trust in our teams ability. Bring it on!"
"I'm excited for qualifiers and hope with our prep we can put it together when it counts to live the dream of qualifying for a World Cup."
"It’s an amazing feeling, knowing that in just a few days, I will be running out onto the field wearing the green and gold jersey to represent my country. As a team, we know it’s not going to be an easy competition, but after a year of numerous training camps, competitions and international matches, it’s a challenge that we are all prepared to face, in hope that we will achieve our goals and qualify for the 2014 World Cup. It’s a privilege and an honour playing for Australia, a great experience, an indescribable feeling and one that I will always cherish."
"I can't explain how excited I am, I just want to get over there and start playing our games! It's going to be very exciting."
"A great opportunity for us to prove that we can be competitive at an international youth level in one of the strongest regions in the world."
"I think we will do well overseas. We have a strong squad that work well together and I know we are capable of qualifying for the World Cup. We showed great character and heart in our last tournament and if we perform like we did in Burma then I know we will have the greatest chance of qualifying. We have a great bunch of girls in this team and I can see how much everyone wants this, but that's enough talk now, it's time to go out and show everyone that we can do this!"
"Playing for your country is the best feeling. We have a great team, and the fact we could potentially make the World Cup is so exciting!!"
"So excited to be going to China for the WCQ. This is something I will remember forever and hopefully we can get the job done!"
