Ikon Park will host the 2018 AFLW Grand Final.
“Ikon Park is now fondly remembered as the venue of the first ever AFLW match where a huge crowd crammed in to witness history,” AFL Head of Women’s Football Nicole Livingstone said.
"We want to ensure AFLW members and fans have the opportunity to attend the first AFLW grand final to be played in Melbourne and Ikon Park offers a capacity of just over 20,000,” she said.
The Western Bulldogs secured their place in the Grand Final for their maiden appearance after a two-point victory over the Melbourne Demons.

With the loss, the Demons were eliminated from Grand Final calculations.
Currently, the Brisbane Lions sit in second place but still rely on results from Collingwood and Adelaide tomorrow.
Collingwood needs to win or draw the match for the Lions to secure another grand final spot while a win to Adelaide will see them go on to defend their Premiership title.
