There's no shortage of talent up in Brissy, it's just a question of finding it.
Brisbane Roar have announced another two signings, this time from the Queensland NPLW competition, with massive goal-scoring pedigree the first thing you'll notice.
Rylee Baisden and Claire Farrington join the club from the second tier. Baisden has a phenomenal record - 33 goals in just 24 matches - which makes her claim that she wasn't expecting a contract sound a little difficult to believe.
“It was quite an exciting time being asked to trial – it was the icing on the cake after a good first season in Australia. I didn’t expect I’d get a contract, but I’m honoured to be playing for Brisbane Roar this season,” Baisden said.
“I’ve always wanted to play in the top division and this is ticking boxes on my football career. The club has a great reputation and I can’t wait to get started."
Farrington on the other hand was a defensive stalwart for Logan Lightning, helping the club to a record-breaking finish last term.
