Moody arrived at Carlton via pick No. 67 in the inaugural AFLW draft and her impact on the ground saw her earn the young ruck a Rising Star nomination in Round 5 this year.

Loynes proved to be one of Carlton’s most consistent midfielders in 2018 while the Hosking twins had an influence on and off the field.

Appointed joint vice-captain this year, Sarah stepped up in Brianna Davey’s absence after a season-ending knee injury.

“To retain Breann, Katie, Sarah and Jess is a terrific result for our club," Head of Football Andrew McKay said.

"All four are foundation players who continue to invest in our women’s program, so we’re delighted they’ll pull on the navy blue again next year,” McKay said.

Throughout the trade and sign period, Carlton retained 20 players and signed Amelia Barden from Collingwood.

“Over the coming days we will have a look at the free agents available, but our main focus will be on recruiting good young talent via the draft,” McKay said.
