The Hockeyroos are three points clear on top of the Tri-Nations table after consecutive wins against New Zealand and Japan.
Australia defeated hosts New Zealand 4-1 on Sunday before another 4-1 defeat of Japan on Monday.
Jodie Kenny, Brooke Peris, Lily Brazel and Kalindi Commerford scored the goals as Australia got their revenge on the Black Sticks after the Commonwealth Games.
Rosie Malone scored her maiden international goal after she was elevated to the squad last week. However, Japan levelled before quarter-time with a penalty corner.
The Hockeyroos restored their lead through Kalindi Commerford just before half-time while goals from penalty corners from Brooke Peris and Renee Taylor in the second half of the match sealed the win.
Australia will face New Zealand again tomorrow night before they come up against Japan on Thursday evening.
