Prior was stretchered off the ground in a neck brace just minutes after coming off the bench in the second half of Canberra's 2-0 win.

But today medics confirmed there was no serious injury for the 20 year old but she is still suffering from concussion from the clash.

A club statement added: "During Sunday’s Westfield W-League round five match with Sydney FC, Canberra United defender Natasha Prior collided heavily with an opponent.

"Prior was taken from the field on a stretcher before being transported to hospital as a precaution.

"Prior underwent scans on Sunday night and while she was diagnosed with a concussion, the scans cleared her of any further damage."

Coach Heather Garriock added: “Everyone at the club is wishing Tash all the best, and we are excited to hear the all clear.

“We can’t wait to see her back when she’s ready.”

There is no date on when Prior will return to action.
